The above will hold their church gate collection on Saturday, 11th and Sunday, 12th July. The Scouts aim is always to support young people in their physical, mental and spiritual development, that they may play a constructive role in society with a very strong focus on the outdoors and survival skills. Scouts is a voluntary organisation. Please give as generously as you can to this church gate collection. Thank you in anticipation.

Cemetery Sunday

Scramogue Cemetery Sunday takes place on Sunday, 26th July. Mass will take place in the Cemetery at 11.30am (weather permitting). Graves will be blessed after Mass. Please ensure that all graves are tidied up if that is necessary, however, most graves are very well tended to. Collection for upkeep of Cemetery will take place at both gates leading to the Cemetery on that day.

Cul Camps Employment

Community Cycle

Community Cycle takes place each Monday evening at 7.30pm. It takes off from Centra shop. Lets all join in and get involved for the Summer months.

Tidy Towns

Tidy Towns judging is now taking place. Village looking well. Keep all litter off the the streets and footpaths. Flowers and hanging baskets look great.

Jog/Walk in Ruskey

A jog/Walk will take place on Wednesday, 15th July at 7.30pm. Reg fee 10 euro. Family of four (2 adults and 2 children under 16) 25 euro. Registration at Ruskey Community Centre between 6 and 7pm on evening of event. Proceeds in aid of Ruskey Church Restoration Fund.

100km Cycle

The date for the annual cycle event has been set for Sunday, 16th of August. As usual, there is a 100K, 50K & 20K Family cycle. As part of the preparation, the weekly Monday evening community cycle is back on, leaving Centra at 7.30pm.
