Mayo/Roscommon Hospice: Eileen Deehan, her sisters, along with some people from the parish will take part in the Flora Women’s mini marathon in Dublin on the 3rd of June. Sponsorship cards are available in all local outlets, and your support, however small would be greatly appreciated.

Shave or Dye event: Takes place in the Kon Tiki on Friday 24th of May in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, starting at 9pm. Music on the night by the Late Night Radio band. Lots of prizes on the night. Come along for a great nights entertainment and to support this worthy cause.

The Gathering Weekend: Takes place on the June bank holiday weekend with lots of activities planned from Friday to Monday, May 31st to June 3rd. Please contact any GAA official for further details.

Congrats: Congratulations to Ronan and Paula Nugent, Carrigeen on the birth of their baby daughter Emma. Congratulations to Ronnie and Fiona Duignan, Rooskey on the birth of their baby daughter Kate. Congratulations to David and Colette Kelly, Dromod, on the birth of their baby daughter Clara Louise
