Drumlish Tidy Towns:  The annual Spring Clean starts on this Saturday morning 9th March at 10.00am –  we ask that residents come out in force and make a special effort to spruce up the space around you and if you have a little extra time to join the Tidy Towns crew to make a real difference to the litter that has piled up all winter. It is sad that people use the public highway to dispose of their snack boxes and coffee disposables, and that children dispose of  full cartons of milk along the verges of the Hill Road – it is sinful when so many are starving. Thanks all who are supporting our Easter Egg fundraiser – the cards are in the shops – this helps us to provide the weedkiller and paints and all the stuff that is needed for the village to look good in time for judging day. It is our hope to have the place spick and span for the first event of the Gathering which takes place on the May Bank holiday weekend.
