Congratulations to local girl Lisa Fulham daughter of Peter & Liz Fulham Rathowen who celebrated her engagement to Martin Maguire son of Bridget and the late Eamon Maguire Edgeworthstown. Lisa & Martin held their party in Feericks Hotel and were joined by family, neighbours and friends to celebrate their happy event.
There was no winner of the 15,000 euro jackpot. The numbers drawn were 6, 10, 14, 17. The numbers drawn for the second jackpot of 4350 euro were 15, 20, 25, 28. There was no winner of the jackpot. The six drawn winners are Karen Kelly, Tom Price, Cyril O’Connor, Carol Kelly, Ann Murray & Maureen Price. The next draw is 18th April 2011 and this draw will have two jackpots one for 15,000 euro and the next for 4500 euro. The results of that draw will be printed next week.
This year’s enrolment for children starting school in September will be held in St Mary’s NS Rathowen on Wednesday 13th April at 2.10pm.The parents/guardians and children who are being enrolled should attend.The meeting will take approximately 30 mins.

There is a challenge match for the U10’s this Thursday 14th April against Killoe U10’s in Streete Parish Park at 7:00pm your support would be appreciated.While training will continue in Bunbrosna for the U12’s and U8’s at 7:00pm to 8:00pm. The U8 kick off their blitz this Saturday 16th April at 10:30am in Springfield, Mullingar.And just to say a word of congratulations to the U12 ‘s who played their first league game last Wednesday evening and were pipped to the post by just 4 points an entertaining game was watched by all the supporters who turned up.
Also Rathowen NS is playing in the semi final against Dysart this Wednesday 13th in Bunbrosna GAA pitch at 6pm.A table quiz this Friday the 15th in the fiddlers green pub in Streete at 9pm in aid of Clann na Gael ladies football club.

Legan vintage club is holding a E G M on Wednesday 20th of April in Connaughton’s pub Rathowen at 9pm. At this meeting there will be a vote on whether or not a tractor run will be held for our two existing Charity’s. They are the LARCC centre and St Luke’s hospital all members are asked to attend
