We send our warm congratulations to Alison Macken, daughter of Eddie and Frances,Ballymulvey who got married on the 19th March last to David Relihan son of Michael and the late Mary Longford at S Joseph’s Church in Geevagh Co Sligo. Alison looked beautiful in her ivory gown assisted by her chief bridesmaid Lisa Reilly and bridesmaids Ciara Killilea and Martha Moorhead. The three girls, all friends of Alison all looked very well in their teal coloured dresses. David’d best man was his friend Shane Donaghy. The two groomsmen, also David’s friends were Brian Dolan and Trevor Quinn. The usher was Robert Harrison, cousin of the bride. The celebrant at the lovely wedding ceremony was Fr Vincent Connaughton with the music provided by Dublin String Trio whom everyone enjoyed. The newlyweds then travelled to the lovely Cromleach Lodge in Castlebaldwin, Co Sligo joined by their many guests to celebrate their marriage. Among the large group of family and friends, especially those who travelled long distances to be with Alison and David were the brides uncle Paddy Macken and his wife Angela, her aunt Angela and her uncle Michael ad his daughter Kate all of whom came over from New York and also her aunt Maureen and husband Michael who travelled over from England. Unfortunately Alison’s aunt Helen and her husband John Findlay were unable to travel from England for the celebrations due to John being unwell. Alison sends her get-well wishes as do all the family to John for a speedy recovery. The happy young couple spent their honeymoon in America and Mexico and have now moved into their lovely new home in Multyfarnham. We wish them many long years of good health, wealth and happiness together.
