Our club had a great day out on Sunday last at Tullamore outdoor bowling court. Donal Keenan and Gerry McCaffrey adapted best to the outdoor surface. Fair play to Sean Powell who arrived late from Portlaoise after attending a late night tea party in the Rustic Inn. A special thanks to the Tullamore club for their hospitality. Only damper on the day was our break down, and we had to spent a few hours in The Copper Pot Still where we enjoyed Ireland win over Romania but Tommy got her going again and we all arrived safely back in Ardagh by 8 pm. Last week bonus was won by Teresa Victory and week before by Mary Finsley. Bowls back every Thursday night at 8 pm.
