50th Anniversary
Congratulations to Fr Michael McKeon, Smear who celebrated the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the Priesthood with a commemoration mass in St Colmcille’s Church on Sunday, 19th July and afterwards a very enjoyable meet and greet and refreshments in the Community Centre. Fr Michael was ordained in 1965 and was one of the last men from the parish to join the priesthood until this year when Fr Seamus O’Rourke was ordained.
Blessing of Graves
Blessing of Graves takes place next Saturday, 1st August in Purth after 7pm mass and on Sunday, 2nd in Aughnacliffe at 2pm.
