A converted free for the visitors was cancelled by Jonathan Mc Cabe in the 14th minute but the visitors tacked on 6 points in a row by the 26th minute with Bouchier and Mc Glade replying just before the break to leave the half time score Killygarry 1-8 Arva 0-8. The visitors increased their lead with 3 points within 2 minutes of the restart but Bouchier and a Paul Cassidy free in the 3rd and 4th minutes kept the home side within touching distance. Killygarry pointed in the 6th minute to put them 5 points ahead.
