The organisers of the recent Mick Flavin fundraiser would like to extend a sincere thanks to all who contributed in anyway to make the event such a success. A special thanks goes to Mick Flavin & his band, Bernie Heaney, who also performed on the night, and Eddie McGovern who provided the food. The presentation of funds raised - which were in excess of €10,000 was made recently to LARCC Multyfarnham and Longford Hospice at an event held at the Crossroads Inn Lisryan.

Lisryan Village & District Development Association will hold a fundraising car boot sale on Sunday June 22nd from 9am to 1pm. For further information please contact bradyjimmy0@gmail.com. Further information will also be appearing here over the coming weeks. The committee would like to sincerely thank all who turned out over the past number of weeks to assist with the clean-up of Lisryan village & surrounding areas. All contributions whether big or small are very much appreciated and help greatly towards our goal of improving the appearance of Lisryan Village & District for all the residents. We think it has also provided an opportunity for us to get to know each other as a community (and given us a great excuse for a cuppa and a chat!).
