Aqua Aerobic classes will resume on Monday, 20th January at 8pm in Longford Sports and Leisure centre Longford. Anyone interested can attend or contact 087 9475314 for more information.

Inny Anglers

Results of last week’s Inny Anglers Lotto draw held in Mitchell’s for a jackpot of €3,900. Numbers drawn were 4, 12, 14 and 29. There was no jackpot winner. Special draw winners of €40 each were Bridie Whelan and Louise Kelly. This week’s draw will take place in Slowey’s and tickets are now on sale. Inny Angler’s Club extend deepest sympathy to the Nolan family on the sad passing of Noel. May he rest in Peace.


We extend deepest sympathy to Margaret Hogan and her family Keel on the death of her mother Mary Keogh, Ohill, Drumlish. Mary passed away peacefully at the General Hospital, Mullingar. Her remains were removed from her home on Sunday to St Mary’s Church, Ennybegs and she was laid to rest following Requiem Mass in the adjoining cemetery. May she rest in Peace.

Results of GAA Lotto draw held on Monday 6th January in Mitchell’s for a jackpot of €8,500. Numbers drawn were 5, 7, 21 and 28.There was no jackpot winner. Match three winners of €35 each were Lily Burke, Tanya Leavy and Tom Nulty. This week’s draw took place in Connaughton’s, Rathowen and results will be published next week.
