Newtownforbes & Kilglass MSRI Karate

Both clubs are now back in full swing at training after the Christmas break and it is great to see all students full of enthusiasm for the coming year. Welcome back to those who have rejoined us after a short break. Well done to all in the organisation who graded successfully over the Christmas period especially those in Newtownforbes and Kilglass clubs. Our club training times are as follows: Newtownforbes 7pm-8pm Monday and Kilglass 7pm-8pm Wednesday. New members are always welcome and remember your first class is free so why not give it a go!

Tidy Towns

Newtownforbes Tidy Towns would like to thank all the people who supported their Christmas Hamper Raffle. A special thanks to Niall Smith for sponsoring the hamper which was won by Fiona Johnston, Gurteenorna.

Scoil Mhuire

Church Unity Week

The week of Prayer for Christian Unity starts next weekend. A Church Unity Prayer Service will be held in the St. John’s Church, Battery Road on January 21st at 7.30pm. The homilist is Bishop Francis Duffy.
