As part of the Ballymahon Gathering, Ballymahon AFC, the Farrell Clan and Reina Flower are preparing to welcome Tosh Farrell to the town.

Tosh Farrell is the former Head of International Football Development and Technical Coordinator at Everton FC. He is visiting Ireland with his family to explore their Irish roots, and to participate in the Farrell Clan activities. Ballymahon AFC have organised a number of activities for his visit.

On Thursday, June 20, there will be a visit to the local national school, Ballymahon NS, followed by an U9 Ballymahon AFC Team Members Coaching session which will take place in Ballymahon Astro at 4pm to 5pm at a cost of €5. Places can be booked with the club U9 Managers. Coaches and Managers can participate for free.

On Friday, June 21, an U13 and U14 coaching session will take place on Ballymahon Pitch from 7pm to 8.30pm. Cost €5. This will be followed by a coaches workshop in Skelly’s finishing with an Irish Hooley. Book with Club U13 and U14 managers.

On Saturday, June 22, a coaching session will take place in the Mall, Longford for players born in 1998 from 2.30pm to 4pm, cost €10. This will be followed by a players Q&A. For more information, contact Reina Flower on 087 1440438.

Finally, Sunday, June 23 will see a coaching session for the U12 Ballymahon AFC team from 10.30am to 11.30am, costing €5. Contact your club manager for bookings.
