Text Alert Information night: There was a large attendance at the Meeting of the Edgeworthstown Text Alert Scheme which was held in The Green on Monday 16th April. It was agreed to proceed with the Text Alert Scheme in the Edgeworthstown and surrounding area. Community Alert subscription envelopes are available at the Old Schoolhouse, Ballymahon Road for anyone wishing to sign up. A launch of the scheme will take place in May and for further information please contact 043-6671801.
FLEADH: Al Fleadh entries for the Longford Fleadh will be taken on Saturday between 2 and 4 on the Green in Edgeworthstown. Strictly no entries afterwards.
