190th Anniversary: St. Ann’s Church of Ireland, Annaduff celebrated its 190th Anniversary on Sunday July 10th. Service was conducted by Rt. Revd.Ken H.Clarke and Rector Bill Atkins. Refreshments were served after the Service in Drumsna Community Resource Centre.
Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Dermot Faughnan son of Bernadette and Hugh Thomas Faughnan, Finnelaughta on his marriage to Elaine Coen daughter of Margaret and Pat Coen, Killamaun, Mohill at St. Patricks Church, Mohill. Silver Jubilee: Congratulations to Rooskey native Fr. Tom Healy who celebrated the 25th anniversary of his ordination on Saturday June 25th. A large representation of the Longford Community came togethe to celebrate the occassion. Fr.Tom’s first role as a curate was in Pullough, Co. Offaly. He has been based in the parish of Templemichael and Ballymacormack since 1988.

Congress Bell: The Eucharistic Congress Bell will be arriving in St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff on Thursday, July 21 next with Mass at 9pm.
Division 1: Annaduff were rather lucky winners over Dromahair by 1-10 to 1-9 in Division 1 in Annaduff on Saturday. There was very little between the sides with Annaduff leading at half time by a point and leading at full time by a point.
