The Fair in Lanesboro takes place this Saturday 5th March 2011 at 10.30am. Dog Show commences at 12.30pm.


The annual Ardagh/Moydow Community Games Art competition was held on February 24th. Thanks to Martin Smyth for organising the event and to all the parents who stayed to lend a hand. It was no easy job for our judge as all the children drew beautiful pictures. See County Community Games Notes in the Sports section for the full list of medal winners. The 1st place winners in each age group now go forward to the County Art Final Saturday March 12th in Kenagh. Good luck to the 3 teams participating in the U14 table quiz on Mon March 7th at 7pm in the Park House. Final week for names being collected for U10 Gaelic Football, U12 Outdoor Soccer and U13 Futsal. WORLD YOUTH DAY 2011, Madrid, Spain, 8th to 26th August 2011. Age group: 18 years to 35 years.
