The next meeting of the committee will take place in Glen NS on Wednesday, 2nd March at 8.00pm. All welcome to attend. The invitations are currently being distributed to all past pupils. While every effort has been made to ensure that everyone has been included, it is possible that some may have been inadvertently missed and we apologise if this is the case. We would be grateful if you would mention the reunion to former classmates and members of your family, especially those who are living abroad.


The annual Ardagh/Moydow Community Games Art competition was held on February 24. Thanks to Martin Smyth for organising the event and to all the parents who stayed to lend a hand. It was no easy job for our judge as all the children drew beautiful pictures. See County Community Games Notes in the Sports section for the full list of medal winners. The 1st place winners in each age group now go forward to the County Art Final Saturday March 12 in Kenagh. Final week for names being collected for U10 Gaelic Football, U12 Outdoor Soccer and U13 Futsal.


Takes place in Madrid, Spain, 8th to 26th August 2011. Age group: 18 years to 35 years. The cost for the Entire Pilgrimage is €951. Thanks to all the girls who came along to the Thinking Day ceremony in

Athlone on Sunday and congratulations to all those girls who were enrolled during the day.

The Tidy Towns AGM takes place in the community centre on Friday 4th March at 8.30.


Congratulations to Eilis McLoughlin winner of the solo singing at the Scor semi final in Wexford on Sunday last. Eilis now represents the parish at the Leinster final & we wish her the best of luck. Well done to the ballad group who put on a great display.
