Jackie’s Big Night

St Patrick’s GAA fundraising draw will take place on Saturday, 24th October in our Community Centre in Ardagh Village. There will be lots of entertainment and family fun from 8pm onwards with great local talent taking to the stage. Refreshments will be served for all present. The big draw will take place at 9pm. As you may know, first prize is Keeltown Jackie, a pure-bred Limousin Heifer (or €3000 cash) plus lots of other prizes. Anyone in the parish wishing to purchase a ticket can contact any committee member or Rory Farrell (087 9692729), Brendan Hanley (086 8241920) or Imelda Keenan (086 3825449). Thank you to all who have supported the draw and we look forward to seeing lots of friends and supporters on the night.

Pioneer News

Longford Region P.T.A.A. annual dinner dance will take place in the Rustic Inn Abbeyshrule on Friday, October 23, Music by T.R. Dallas. Dinner 9p.m. Tickets €25. Mass for deceased members of Pioneer Association in Drumlish on Friday 20th November at 8p.m.

Girl Guides

Are hosting a Paint it Pink meeting this Thursday evening 15th from 7-7:45pm - everyone is welcome along to join them for a cup of tea, play a few games, buy a few trinkets and paint yourself pink! Please come down to the Community Centre and support them and the Paint it Pink cause!

Dog Poop

It is lovely weather for walking and taking the dogs out, but please when walking the dog scoop the poop. Its not very pleasant out walking to see dog poop on the footpaths. So please all dog walkers scoop the poop.
