Big big birthday

A very large birthday greetings to Larry Nolan Longford who has attained the ten times cardinal number this week and was joined by families and friends to celebrate his longevity in a deserving style. The parish express sympathy to her son, Stephen (Brighton), daughter Lynn (Cork), son/ daughter in law, grandchildren, sisters Anna, Theresa, Kathleen UK, Eileen USA, Olive (Cork), brother/sister in law, extended families, friends. Burial was held in Surrey UK. May she rest in peace.

New baby

Congratulations to Paul and Amy Davis, Ohill, Killoe on the recent birth of a bouncy baby boy. The parish extend good wishes to the proud parents, grandparents Dessie and Bridie Davis, Ohill, extended families, friends for a future filled with great health and happiness and many good nights of perfect sleep. Church News

St Mary’s, Ennybegs, Wednesday at 10am Thursday 10am (confirmation class mass and their teacher Mrs Linda Farrell will be in attendance. Afterwards Fr Brendan O’Sullivan will conduct a short retreat themed (me – confirmation and the holy spirit) for the pupils in the church. “Do this in memory of me” First Holy Communion programme, Mass Sunday, 26 January at 11am. Rota for Ministers of reading has been distributed for 2014 to all ministers and we thank them for their dedication to the ministry. Also much appreciation to all stewards who volunteer their services at all removals and funerals in the parish. An invaluable service to bereaved families, people of the parish and outside community. Volunteers requested for Ministers of Eucharist in St Oliver’s Church, Cullyfad, Killoe at Sundays 9.30 Mass. Please give names to Fr Sean in Sacristy on Sunday, 26 January. A rota comprising of youth aged 16 and over and adults male/female will be scheduled shortly.
