Shoebox appeal

If you would like to donate a shoebox for children in underdeveloped countries.

Just get a average size shoebox ,wrap the box in Christmas wrapping paper. Fill your box with some of the following items, pen, pencil, copy book, colouring book, toothbrush, paste, soap, Gloves, hats, scarf, socks, underwear. Any of these items are suitable. There are 3 age groups, 2-4 5-9 10-14. Choose whether you are sending to a boy or girl, when your box is ready you can leave it in the post office before the 22nd November. Their are leaflets in the post office to complete for your box. Any other information required please contact Alison Murphy at 0876894597. Please support . Also attach 4 euro to your box.


Congratulations to all the cast and backroom staff for a fantastic and hilarious performance of A wake in the West. And of course to the Director of the play Ger Connaughton who done a outstanding job. It was a great success over the three nights , and enjoyed by everyone. The RADS are always looking for new members so remember it could be you on that stage next year. Well done to all.

Many thank to Felim Heduvan for looking after the 3rd and 4th class pupils at their Blitz recently in St Loman’s. Also a big thank you to all the parents who helped out with lifts on the day. Much Appreciated. Congratulations to Ger Connaughton, Betty Whitney and Avril Whitney for a wonderful presentation of A wake in the West. It was a brilliant production. Well done to all the members.
