St Christopher’s play
On this Friday night, February 20th the Granard branch of St. Christopher’s will host Seamus O’Rourke’s Padraig POTTS GUIDE TO WALKING in the community centre in Granard with curtain up at 8-30pm. Tickets are on sale from committee members or on the door, so come along and enjoy a good night and support our local St. Christopher’s Branch.
Granard country markets held a free draw for St. Valentines day and the following were the winners Gaberial Devine, David Feely and Joseph Kelly. The Market continues every Friday morning at upper Main Street.
Killeen’s Real McCoy
Yes folks it’s that time of year again and Killeen Dramatic Society presents “The Real McCoy” a three act comedy by Tommy Marren in The Community Centre, Granard on Thursday and Friday, 26th and 27th of February and again on Monday, March 2nd with curtain up at 8-30pm. Over the years Killeen Dramatic Society have staged many great plays and this years production promises to be up there with the best of them, so make sure you put one of those nights in your diary.
The scene is almost set and all roads will lead to the Longford Arms Hotel on Saturday night, February 28th next when Ballymore football club will host DE KUBE as a fundraiser. This promises to be a great night out and with music by the popular Busy Fingers, it’s not too be missed. The organizing committee are to be congratulated for bringing this show to Longford for the first time and surely deserve as much support as possible.
