The annual church gate collection for motor neurone disease will be held at both churches in the parish on Saturday 21/ Sunday 22 February 2015. Your support will be greatly appreciated and we thank everyone for their support over the years.

Dancing lessons

Sean Nos dancing lessons will be held on Tuesdays in Cullyfad Community Centre, Killoe at 7pm. Price per child 5 euro per class.

Esker Hall

Centenary Commemoration project meeting on Wednesday, 18 February in Ennybegs Community Centre, Killoe at 8.30pm. Bingo in the above centre every Friday at 8.30pm.

Community Games

There will be Table Quiz for Killoe Community Games on Friday, 27th February at 9pm. This fundraiser will take place in The Forge and a table of four costs forty euro. Your support is greatly appreciated. Training for Pitch and Putt is due to start on Saturday the 14th of March. Could anyone interested in trying out for the teams over 13 and under 16 boys and girls, please contact Dolores O’Driscoll on 086-3845340. A sincere thank you to the boys and girls for taking part in the recent Killoe Community Games Art competition. The following are the results in the different age categories:

The County Art competition will be held on Saturday, 28th February at 10am in St Emer’s NS, Longford. Entry fee is 2 euro per competitor. The A.G.M of the Killoe Branch will be held in the Old Forge on Thursday, the 19th at 9pm. All members please attend, new members welcome. Local politicians will be in attendance.
