The late Ronan Reilly

On Tuesday last, August 4th the entire area was stunned and shocked when the news broke that Ronan Reilly of Ballinaroey, Dring had passed to his eternal reward suddenly at his home. Beloved son of Pat and Martha Reilly and dear grandson of Mrs. Janie McGivney, Granardkille, Ronan was one of a family of ten children and he was a very popular and hard working man who will be sadly missed by his many friends and pals. Huge crowds attending Ronan’s reposing in the family home and his removal on Friday evening to St. Joseph’s Church Purth and again on Saturday for his funeral Mass after which he was laid to rest in the local cemetery. We offer sincere and heartfelt sympathy to his parents Pat and Martha, his sisters Patricia, Ann Marie, Jacinta, Yvonne and Elaine, brothers Noel, Enda, Declan and Damien. His Granny Janie, uncles and aunts and extended family. May he rest in peace.
