Bingo night

A Community Bingo night will be held in the Crossroads Inn, Lisryan on April 10th at 8.45pm to launch the 2015 Lisryan Community Tidy Towns Initiatives. The Bingo will be followed by entertainment from Chuck and June. €7 per book with a raffle on the night.

Clean up days

Clean up days are continuing every Saturday at 11am. Many thanks to all who have been turning up to lend a hand.

Guitar Lessons

Guitar lessons for beginners continue this Saturday and every Saturday morning from 10.30am to 11.30am in the Streete Parish Hall. For further details contact Thomas on 085-7788539 after 6pm.

Streete Parish Park Lotto

Numbers drawn on Monday, 16th March were 2, 8, 13 and 24. No jackpot winner. €40 winners were: John Keary, Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan; Michael & Kim, c/o Bingo and Butch Kelly, Russagh, Rathowen. Next Lotto draw is on Monday, 30th March when the jackpot will be €6,000. Thank you for supporting our community.

Streete Wildlife Club

After seven weeks of shooting, it’s now down to the finals of the club 2015 Spring League Clay Shoot which are due to be held on this Thursday evening, 26th March in the club grounds. Over 30 shooters are due to take part with trophies and cash prizes in all classes and the High Gun winner will receive the Campbell Bros cup and €150. The club 37th AGM was held on last Friday night which was well attended and there will be a full report in next weeks’ notes.
