Thomas Donohoe

The death occurred peacefully at Cavan General hospital on Sunday, 4th January of Thomas Donohoe, Mullahoran Lr. Deceased who was aged 67 had been hospitalised for some time. He was the youngest of four children of the late Thomas and Mary (nee Brennan) Donohoe. He was a quiet and inoffensive person who loved listening to music and he was an integral part of the local community especially around the church and school for many years. In his early days he was a hard working man who helped his brother Anthony run the family farm. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Josephine (Sorohan), Sr. Olive and brother Anthony, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends to whom we extend our sincere sympathy. The funeral Mass was celebrated by Canon Owen Devaney P.P. assisted by Fr. Sorohan in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Mullahoran and burial took place to local cemetery. May he rest in peace.
