Annaduff beaten

Annaduff were beaten 2-8 to 0-4 by Melvin Gaels in Kilnlough on Saturday evening. The Gaels were much the better team possib ly could have won by more as they shot many wides. They led 1-4 to 0-0 at half time. Annaduff improved slightly in the second getting four points from Sean McNabola (2), Francis McNabola and Ray Cox. Annaduff lined out as follows: Jim McCormack, Nigel Cox, Thomas Flanagan, Dean Gill, Daniel Duignan, James Cox, Gary Bohan, David Duignan, Matty Cox (Capt), Sean Duignan, Cathal Cox, Eoin Gill, Kenny Cox, Ray Cox, Sean McNabola. At the draw held Duignans Bar, Drumsna, there was no Jackpot winner. The 50 euro winner was Betty Harte, Aughamore. The 25 euro winners were Cathal Harte, Joe Toolan, John Dowling, Rose McWeeney. The next draw takes place on Sunday night next in Cox’s Steakhouse Bar, Dromod with a Jackpot of 6,900 euro.
