U12 Soccer County Champions

Congratulations to all the boys involved in winning the County Community Games Outdoor Soccer final last weekend: Adam Reilly, Ben Callan, Brendan Finnan, Cian Hartmann,  Daniel Hayden, Diarmuid Farrell, Dylan Fay, Fergal Keane, Jack Gallagher, Jack Mulleady, Ronan Sheahan and Shane Quinn. They had a comprehensive win over Carrickedmond in the morning round and after a rest they went head to head with Killoe in the very exciting final to emerge 3-1 County Champions. It was truly a team effort and every single player contributed to the victory by giving a solid performance in their position. Unable to play on the day due to illness were Cathal Farrell, Conor Hogan and Sean Hogan.  We hope that they are well recovered for our provincial first round match against Louth or Meath. Thanks to mentors Michael Hayden, Ronan Gallagher and Philip Reilly for preparing the team and to all the parents who gave great encouragement on the day.
