Recent wedding
A very pretty wedding took place in St Michael’s Church, Castletown on Friday, August 15 last at 1.30pm between Miss Mary Plunkett, Castletown Finea and Mr Shane Cullen, Moylagh, Oldcastle. The celebrant of the nuptial mass was very Rev Fr Patrick Moore PP Castlepollard. The bride who looked radiant was given away by her father Thomas. She was assisted by Olivia Plunkett as chief bridesmaid and also by Aisling Plunkett & Barbara Ring. The groom was assisted by Terry Smith as bestman and also by Paddy Smith and David Hand as groomsmen. Following the ceremony families and friends travelled to Crover House Hotel, Mountnugent on the banks of Lough Sheelin for a delightful wedding reception, proceeded by many happy hours of song and dance. We congratulate Mary and Shane and wish them both good luck, health and happiness throughout the years ahead.
