Duathlon for Karen Gill
Karen Gill, youngest daughter of Thomas and Kathleen, Monaduff/Corrick is doing a duathlon in London on the 14th of September which will involve a 10km run followed by a 22km cycle and then finish with a 5km run. She is doing this race in order to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. What many people don’t know is that one in three of us will get cancer, two million of us are living with it. We are all affected by cancer. So with respect to that, she is hoping to raise at least €100 but of course would love to raise more. She has a page set up on ‘just giving’
( https://www.justgiving.com/Karen-Gill5/) and would really appreciate any donation no matter what the amount as every little helps.
