Ruskey Honda 50 run was a huge success last Sunday. All monies raised goes to Whitehall/Kilglass Special Needs. We will inform you of the figures when we get them. Well done to the girls and lads who looked after everyone so well.

Community Games 
Well done to Emer Compton who took part in the talent competition recently in solo singing, also well done to all the boys and girls who took part in the county art final on Saturday, best of luck to children taking part in the Community Games swimming on Sunday 13th. We hope to run the Athletics day towards the end of April. Basketball blitz: Well done to all from Team Whitehall NS Sarah, Elizabeth, Karolina, Emer, Annie,Eoin, John,Daragh, Bryan,Issac, Harry, Adam, Aidan who won the overall competition after winning all five matches, thanks to Fermoyle NS for a great nail biting final match, final score 16 to 15 after 9 minutes of extra time. Thanks to Shirley and Grainne and to all parents for coming out to support them all day.

St Barry’s GAA
Congratulations to the Roscommon U-21 team and to Ronan McGowan who is a member of the panel on winning the Connacht final over the weekend. The Roscommon GAA Kellogs Cul Camp will take place in St Barry’s GAA club from 14th -18th July. Online registrations opened 31st March 2014. The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Rogers family, Scramogue on the recent death of Tom Rogers RIP and also to the Connor family, Clonfad on the recent death of Brigid Connor RIP. Both families have strong links with our club. Roscommon Coaching and Games Development are inviting applicants from third level students who have experience in coaching underage players to apply for positions on our Kellogg’s GAA football and hurling Cul camps this summer. Cake Sale

The Scramogue Church Restoration committee will hold a cake sale after 11.30am Mass on Easter Sunday. The Committee would like to request those who baked last year to try and help out again. Meanwhile all funds raised will go towards Church Restoration Fund.
