Women’s Group: Ballinagh women’s group are meeting in the community centre on Monday 24th September at 8pm when the first in a series of talks on herbs will be given and this will reveal their enormous potential and use both in cooking and for medicinal purposes and new members are encouraged to join and will be made very welcome.
Garden Club: The Annual General Meeting of the Ballinagh Gardening Club was held in the Community Centre with a large number of members present, the secretary (Mr Seamus Murphy) in the course of a lengthy and well worded report traced all the activities of the club over the past twelve months while the treasures (Mrs Audrey Foster) presented the balance sheet which showed the club to be in a sound financial state and glowing tributes were paid to Mr Murphy and Mrs Foster for their outstanding work on behalf of the club. Vintage Club: Ballinagh and District Vintage Club are holding a table quiz in Cons Lounge Butlersbridge on Friday 21st September at 9pm with all proceeds going to family and friends of respite centre Cootehill, Sam Bennett run and Autistic Classroom Ballinagh National School. Refreshments served. Team of four €40 and do please support very deserving causes.
