The Legan Branch of St Christopher’s are holding, what promises to be a great night of entertainment in The Oasis Bar, Kinard, on Saturday night June 11th. The line up includes Veronica Moran, Aaron Lyons, Paddy Maguire, Bartle Garry, Tom Walsh, The McHugh Sisters (Abbeylara), David Harris and Pat Burns, along with other regular songsters and musicians……the usual suspects. Throw All Ireland winning raconteur Liam Butler into the mix and we have a recipe for great crack!!!! There will be no need for Helium or Oxygen here. The show which commences at 9.30pm will be anchored by the one and only Ita Tighe. Admission is free, but donations at the door will be gratefully accepted. There will be a raffle with prizes galore. Billy Moran, once again, has a few items to auction, the identity of which were still a mystery at the time of going to press.
