Show news - Cloone Agriculural Show Committee are holding a fundraising 25 card drive in Fitzpatrick’s Mohill on Friday night April 15th. 1st prize 100 euro, second 50 euro, third 25 euro. Ticket 2 euro each. Your support would be appreciated. Details of show AGM next week.

Club planning

workshop

Cloone GAA will hold a club planning and development workshop on Saturday 2nd April at 8pm in Cloone Community Centre to which all the community is invited. The aim is to produce an overall plan for the next five years , so whether you are a player mentor helper parent or social member , your opinion and contribution to the plan would be greatly valued. Even if you are not currently an active member please come along and contribute to the future direction the club will take. This will be an informal and friendly way to feed your opinion into the club’s future and we are hoping for a big turnout.

Poker classic

Cloone GAA are holding a poker classic in Creegans Bar Cloone on Friday 8th April starting at 7.30 with a top prize of 500 euro. Cost of entry is 30 euro plus 5 euro registration fee. Further details are available from any club member and pre-registration is available from committee members.

Enrolment forms now available at Aughavas NS tel 071 9636326. Completed forms to be returned to the school together with child’s birth certificate & baptismal certificate before Friday 15th April 2011.

Cloone /Aughavas Community Playschool

Cloone/ Aughavas Community Playschool are now taking bookings for September 2011 for children who are age 2 years and 10 months on the 1st September 2011. We are also providing places under the ECCE scheme if your child is going to school in September 2012 and born between 2nd February 2007 and 30th June 2008 they are entitled to avail of the free pre-school year. Cloone /Aughavas Community Playschool: Offers children the opportunity to learn through play in a safe stimulating and educational environment.

Beginning for Cloone on 23rd march ‘11 at 7.30pm and ending at 8.30pm. Parents /guardians are asked to bring the youngsters to the school at 7.20pm. Return at 8.20pm for the closing ‘prayer time session’ and take them home at 8.30pm.
