COMMUNITY ALERT: Edgeworthstown Community Alert are holding a meeting in the Green Club House this Wednesday at 8pm.All welcome.
GOLF: Edgeworthstown Golf Classic will be held in Longford Golf Club on Saturday, 5th November. The purpose of this event is to promote the sport of golf within the community. The only requirement is that you reside in the parish. If you would like to give it a try contact Gerry Lynn on 087-3980955, Peter Costello on 086-3383277 or Richie Cheevers on 087-9195320 Entry fee is 20euro, which includes a meal in the clubhouse, Presentation of prizes will take place in The Sportsmans Inn at 9pm that evening where Gerry has kindly agreed to provide for us.
