Mullingar Credit Union has rebranded to North Midlands Credit Union effective from March 1, 2022.
Following a number of mergers in the last number of years (including Longford, Castlepollard, Kinnegad and Rochfortbridge) and to reflect the increase in membership and the common bond area, a resolution proposed by the Board of Directors was passed, by the members of Mullingar Credit Union at the 2020 annual general meeting, held on March 3, 2021, to change the name from Mullingar Credit Union to North Midlands Credit Union.
The new name recognises the growth and increased geographical reach of the credit union and allows us to be more inclusive, recognisable and elicit a sense of belonging and ownership from all members.
Our name has changed but we are still the same Credit Union, where our professional staff provide the same services to all members. The official launch will take place on Friday, March 11 with an outside broadcast with Shannonside in Market Square, Longford and Midlands 103 in Mullingar. All are welcome.
