Rethink Ireland singles out role in supporting Longford social enterprises

Social enterprises in Kildare encouraged to apply for funding with Rethink Ireland

Rethink Ireland have published a report highlighting the impact it has made in supporting social enterprises such as Willow Traders in Longford

Rethink Ireland are marking four years of their Social Enterprise Development Fund and have published a report highlighting the impact of the Fund and spotlighting some of the social enterprises supported since 2018, including local group: Willow Traders.


The Social Enterprise Development Fund was created in 2018 by Rethink Ireland in partnership with Local Authorities Ireland and funded by IPB Insurance and the Department of Rural and Community Development via the Dormant Accounts Fund to find and back the best social enterprises in Ireland by making cash grants and strategic business support available to Awardees.

Applications for the 2022 Social Enterprise Development Fund and Social Enterprise Start Up Fund will be open until March 3rd and can be found on Rethink Ireland’s website,
