Members of the Bea Masterson Amateur Drama Group are busy putting the finishing touches to their laugh-out-loud comedy 'My Therapist Needs Therapy' which runs from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, March 29 at the Aurora Hall, Legan.
Written and directed by Vanessa Galligan, 'My Therapist Needs Therapy', introduces Dr Zen (played by John O’Brien), a therapist known for his unwavering calm and tranquil nature - the ideal person to help others navigate the chaos of their lives.
However, Dr Zen's professional life is anything but peaceful.
He is faced with a roster of clients who are literal "forces of nature," ranging from wacky individuals to a gossip-obsessed cleaner.

As the absurdity of his clientele threatens to expose his personal life at work, Dr Zen must rely on his trusty plant, 'Emerald,' to remain grounded amidst the madness.
Cast list
Dr Zen (Zen Zenith): A hippy-like middle-aged man, free-spirited and open-minded, played by John O’Brien.
Lydia: The brisk and observant receptionist, played by Ann-Marie Donohoe.
The Overthinker: An extremely indecisive client who overthinks everything, played by Shane Geraghty.
The Crier: A highly emotional man who cries at the drop of a hat, played by Ciaran Kavanagh.
Gloria Gossip: The office cleaner who likes a good rumour, played by Carmel Nulty.
Paranoid Paula: A client who is suspicious of everything, but why, played by Stacey Donohue.
Hilary (The Shopaholic): A sassy lady who is seeking a cure for her spending habits, played by Louise Ballesty.

Seamus: A stressed farmer who mistakenly visits Zen (thinking he is a vet), played by Gerry Madden.
Mick: Seamus's farmer friend and has all the neighbours' gossip, played by Colm Ward.
Serenity Sunflower: Zen's feisty and frustrated wife and mother of his children, played by Kate Gunshan.
Raven: A court-ordered graffiti artist who views his vandalism as creative art, played by Jack Nulty.
Deborah: A yelling, frustrated wife who attends couples counselling, played by Sharon Coughlan.
Patrick: Deborah's husband, who is probably just there to keep her quite [sic], played by Padraig Kelly.
Alexandra | Zen's Russian-speaking girlfriend.
Jacinta (The Crush): A former client with an obsession for Zen, played by Claire Phelan.
The Sorry Guy: A client who has made a habit of constantly apologising for everything, played by Johnny Murray.
Oliver Oblivion (The Klepto): A man who claims to be cured of his urge to steal, played by Liam Glynn.
