Wedding bells: Longford bride and Wicklow groom tie the knot in beautiful winter wedding

Congratulations to Ciara Hand and Joe Kelly who were married in St Columba’s Church, Mullinalaghta

Congratulations to Ciara, daughter of Margaret and Séamus Hand, Larkfield, and Joe, son of Catherine and James Kelly, Sandyhills, Dunlavin, Co Wicklow, who were married on Saturday, December 20, 2025 in St Columba’s Church, Mullinalaghta with Fr Phil Gaffney officiating. 

Émer Hand was chief bridesmaid assisted by Maeve Bullimore and Rachel Johnston, while Seán Kelly was best man, assisted by Stephen Buckley and Adam Hendy, with Aoife Kelly and Willie Buckley as junior bridesmaid and groomsman respectively. 

The music in the church was provided by Louise O’Reilly and Eileen Tackney.

After the ceremony, the wedding party and guests travelled to the Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar, where a beautiful meal was served by the attentive staff and music and celebrations continued until the early hours. 

We wish the happy and popular couple all the best for a wonderful future together in their new home in County Wicklow.
