Joe Hunt celebrated his milestone birthday with Ballymahon Bridge Club members
Joe Hunt recently celebrated his 90th birthday, an occasion marked with a special gathering at Ballymahon bridge club.
Members enjoyed tea and coffee along with a wonderful cake baked by Una Flynn to honour the milestone.

During the celebration, Joe shared that he was born in the same year as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jack Charlton and Julie Andrews.
He also noted that 1935 was the year nylon was invented.
For many years, Offaly native Joe worked as a proof reader with the Longford Leader.
