Athena Café is proudly taking the lead as the host venue, bringing fresh energy and creativity to Longford’s evening scene
After a successful debut earlier this year, Café Lates is back as part of Longford’s Night-Time Economy Evening Edit: Autumn/Winter Schedule.
This season, Athena Café is proudly taking the lead as the host venue, bringing fresh energy and creativity to Longford’s evening scene.
Kicking off the programme is none other than Emily Doyle, fresh from her standout performance at Electric Picnic.
Her appearance sets the tone for a series of intimate, engaging events designed to transform the café into a vibrant hotspot after dark.
The initiative, supported by Longford County Council and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, aims to boost footfall, support local businesses, and offer inclusive, social spaces in the heart of town.
Night-Time Economy Advisor Karen Reilly said, “We’re delighted to bring Café Lates back. It’s a great way to support local businesses while creating vibrant, welcoming spaces for people to enjoy Longford Town in the evenings.”
