Emergency services are dealing with roof damage at a Longford business premises as Storm Amy bares her teeth.
Units of Longford Fire Service and the gardaí are at Intersport Elverys, situated in Longford Retail Park on the Athlone Road, Longford town after the roof of the property was damaged by high Storm Amy winds.
Luke, an employee at Elverys said: "It was a loud noise and banging. We saw the windows flexing. You could hear it upstairs as well."
"You could hear a ripple effect next door," added Isaac, who works for Mr Price.
Firefighters are at the scene trying to stabilise the flexing front of Elverys.
