Irish Rail announced a few months ago that the trolley service on the Dublin / Sligo train would not return but now it’s announced that the trolley service on Dublin / Connolly to Sligo train is coming back shortly. They have a preferred supplier to operate the food and drink carts. It was an essential service and many people are delighted it’s coming back.
