ALERT: Gardaí launch bid to find missing Longford teen believed to be in Louth

She was wearing white leggings, a white top and a grey leather jacket with pink runners when she went missing

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 15-year-old girl from Longford.

Aideen Bagnall was last seen at approximately 9pm on the night of Friday, September 12 in the county's train station.

She is described as being approximately 5 foot 6 inches in height with a slim build, long brown hair and blue eyes.

When Aideen went missing, she was wearing white leggings, a white top and a grey leather jacket with pink runners.

It is believed that she may be in Dundalk town in Co Louth.

Anyone with any information on Aideen’s whereabouts is asked to contact Longford Garda Station on 043 335 0570, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
