Starting Monday, September 15, TFI Local Link Longford Westmeath Roscommon will launch new and improved Routes 816 and 865, enhancing transport connections.
These new and enhanced routes are part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan which is a major national public transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network.
New Route 816 will operate three return journeys daily, running Monday through Sunday, with an additional evening service available on Fridays and Saturdays.
Designed to enhance regional connectivity, the route will provide peak-time services and links key destinations including Mullingar Hospital, Mullingar and Longford Train Stations, and regional bus networks.
It will also serves a wide range of communities, connecting the villages and areas of Glebe View, Ardagh, Ballycloghan, Carrickboy, Legan, Ballynacarrigy, Ballinalack, Multyfarnham, and Ballyglass.
