Ukrainian community in Longford invite locals to Ukrainian Independence Day event
The Ukrainian community in Longford has invited locals to an event celebrating Ukrainian Independence Day.
The event takes place on August 22 from 1pm to 4pm at Temperance Hall.
The event will feature performances by the Ukrainian Choir and musicians, children’s activities and an exhibition of traditional Ukrainian crafts and art.
"We warmly welcome you to join us in honouring this important day together," a statement shared by Longford County Council said.
"Celebrate Ukrainian culture, share in the joy, and make memories together!"
