Gardaí arrest woman (50s) following Longford house search drugs bus
A woman was arrested following the seizure of €22,000 worth of cannabis in Longford.
The arrest came after a joint operation that was carried out by the Divisional Drugs Unit at Longford Garda Station, the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue Customs Officers on Thursday, August 7.
During the course of the operation a search of a house was carried out in the Longford Town area.

As a result, €22,000 of cannabis was seized and a female in her 50's was arrested and detained under Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
She was subsequently charged with drug related offences and will appear before Longford District Court on a date in September.
