Nora, owned by the Murphy's, Ballinamuck, is the Longford representative in the national Petsitters Ireland Nose of Tralee competition.
The competition is decided by an online vote. There are thirty two pets in the competition, each one representing a county.
Longford is a small county and Nora needs every vote she can get to bring the title home to Longford.
Tess Murphy explained, “We aren't a Kingdom, an Orchard or a Banner, we aren't Wee or Rebels and we aren't going to win any Sam Maguire or Liam McCarthy this year, but we are strong and loyal, like Nora.
“Longford winning the National Nose of Tralee would mean so much to all of us in the county - to win the cutest, cuddliest competition in Ireland and wear our county colours with pride.
