The run had many motorbikes involved, the event's purpose was to show Tommy support a year on from his accident
Tommy’s Run, which took place on Saturday, August 2 in Newtownforbes, was the first of its kind since Tommy Donlon lost his leg and suffered limited mobility in his right arm after an accident. The run was in aid of his treatment, and Laura Campbell, who was one of the many who helped make it happen, called it a “brilliant success.”
Although unsure whether there will be another, Laura added that “we wanted to gather as a group of friends to show him some support.”

115 bikes turned up, but that figure did not include cars, lorries and locals who came to add support.
Laura finished by thanking all the businesses for sponsoring the event, as well as for the food and spot prizes. She also thanked the bikers who participated.
