Longford's No to Derryadd Wind Farm Group do not want a wind farm in their area

The group are sending objections for it to proceed and want to public to get involved

Almost one hundred people attended a recent public meeting in Lanesboro Parish Hall organised by the No to Derryadd Wind Farm Group. The group is firmly opposed to the plans of Bord na Móna Powergen Limited to develop a wind farm locally.

In response to Bord na Móna Powergen Limited submitting their planning application to An Bord Pleanála (ABP), the No to Derryadd Wind Farm Group have decided to submit an objection to the proposal. 

The Group is inviting members of the public, if they so wish, to sign the objection submission free of charge. They can do so at public events in Lanesboro Parish Hall this Friday, June 20 from 7.30 to 9pm and on Tuesday, June 24 from 7.30 to 9pm in the St Brigid’s Killashee GAA clubhouse.
