Ariane and Mia Hayden from Milltown, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath were delighted to meet well known retired blacksmith Mr PJ Mallon as they enjoyed the wonderful scenery and this beautiful May sunset on Cairn Hill.

PJ shared his knowledge of the local area and the sisters, whose grandmother and grandfather hail from Colehill and Forgney, respectively, were delighted to hear some the history and stories about Longford’s highest peak.
