Miceal Nolan of Longford Vintage Club explained, “It’s a scenic route of north Longford, and we’re going to see a private tractor collection along the route and we’ll be stopping on the way back at The Old Forge in Killoe.
“So if anyone wants to see the tractors they’ll be on display there from 4pm.”
In addition to the annual tractor run, this year sees the staging of Longford Vintage Club’s 20th anniversary Vintage Show, an event which has attracted visitors from all over the country bringing all kinds of vehicles with them.
“We were formed in 2005,” explained Miceal,” Our Vintage Show and Family Fun Day will be happening on June 1, the bank holiday weekend.”
